MAMMOGRAM AND ULTRASOUND BOTH BREATHS.
COMPARISON: None.
HISTORY: left breast mass.
MAMMOGRAM:
Heterogeneously dense breast.
There are a 4.4-cm circumscribed, hyperdensity lesion at the left outer mid, correlated with US.
No suspicious microcalcification.
There is no architectural distortion.
The subcutaneous layer appears normal.
There is no significant enlarged axillary lymph node.
Additional sonography shows an oval heterogenous mass with vascularity at L2-3, inner, size 4.6x2.4 cm with adjacent a 0.8 cystic lesion and a 3.5x1.5-cm echoic cystic lesion. Unremarkable right breasts and both axilla.
CONCLUSION:
A left breast mass at L2-3, inner, size 4.6x2.4 cm with adjacent a 0.8-cm cystic lesion and a 3.5x1.5-cm echoic cystic lesion.
BIRADS 4B suspicious abnormality.
RECOMMENDATION: Biopsy should be considered
